The more challenging a topic is—and the more it requires explanation—the more it appeals to me. As a Senior Consultant at Sympra, I advise companies on B2B communication. My focus is on translating complex products, services, and projects in a way that helps customers, employees, and partners understand what’s at stake and why it matters to them.
As a member of Sympra’s crisis communications team, I help companies prepare for difficult situations, particularly in the event of IT security incidents. We identify existing vulnerabilities in processes and communications, create practical crisis communications manuals, and test emergency response through drills. I share this knowledge in workshops and presentations, for example at Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IHKs), the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Agency, or at the Cyber Resilience Forum.
Another focus is project management for communication projects, such as client events or international B2B communication. For events, I take on overall communication management—from defining the format and topics, to selecting and supporting speakers, briefing the moderator, and following up with tailored formats. This ensures that events have an impact both internally and externally, extending beyond the event day itself. For globally positioned companies, I manage international projects within our PRN agency network, coordinate partner agencies, and ensure that messages are conveyed consistently across all markets.
My transition from business journalism to B2B communications—particularly in the machinery and plant engineering sectors—helps me quickly identify the core message of a topic and present it in a way that resonates with trade media and corporate audiences. This combination of a journalistic perspective and many years of consulting experience continues to shape my work to this day.
