I discovered my affinity for numbers and my interest in finance and accounting during my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management. I promptly decided to complete a Master’s degree in Accounting and Controlling. I gained my first professional experience during an internship in a small Bulgarian accounting firm. There I learned to work in an organized and structured manner, which is very important in this profession. The desire for new knowledge and experience then took me to New York, where I worked for a year in the administration of a country club. I was not only responsible for secretarial tasks, but also for event management. The next professional step was to work for an Irish financial services company. As a full-time accountant, I was able to familiarize myself with the subject matter and deal intensively with IFRS and international taxes.
I moved to Stuttgart in June 2020, and after my parental leave I was ready to get back into the world of work. This is how my path crossed with Sympra: I have been part of the team since July 2023, where I take care of the accounting. For the perfect work-life balance, I practice yoga and teach yoga for beginners on a freelance basis.
