I joined Sympra as a Senior Consultant in April 2018. I am a communications professional with considerable international exposure. I moved to Germany from India where my last assignment was as the Head of Press and Communications at British High Commission (Embassy) in New Delhi. As the lead for commercial communications, I led on the media strategy and management of high profile visits by British Prime Minister Theresa May and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to India. Prior to this, I was Media Manager at Greenpeace India, responsible for strategy development and creative communication campaigns. I was also a member of Greenpeace International’s Crisis Response Lab, responsible for supporting the organisation in global crisis communications. I started my career as a political correspondent and presenter at India’s leading English-language news channel Times Now.
I hold a Master’s Degree in International Journalism from Cardiff University and have recently completed an executive programme in Strategic Marketing from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Whilst in the UK, I have had brief work stints at BBC Wales and the Welsh Assembly Government. I am proficient in English language communications and digital marketing for both commercial and development purposes. At Sympra I will primarily handle projects from Siemens Stiftung and will work to boost the agency’s international outreach in collaboration with its partners in the Public Relations Network (PRN).
I love travelling, photography and writing about my travels.
