It dawned on me that my heart beats for communications in all its varieties after finishing my bachelor’s degree in communication studies at the University of Hohenheim. I pursued my passion through internships in event management at a Stuttgart agency, in marketing at a company in eCommerce, and then in PR at Stuttgart’s Children and Youth Theatre. This led to my will to pursue my master’s degree in corporate communications at the Media University when I collaterally worked as a trainee for a commercial initiative in Baden Württemberg. Alongside my studies, I trained to become the moderator of an event (TV, radio and Internet) at the Institute for Moderation (IMO). I accentuated my skills in the field of story work through a multi-module advanced training course “Narrative Management – Professional Storytelling in Business.” My thesis work for my BA was about management communication and my thesis work for my MA was about mission statement development which demonstrates that my enthusiasm for internal communication is abundant.
Upon completing my MA, I was drawn back to Stuttgart’s Theater for Young Audiences where I spent two years in corporate public relations. It was here where I gained hands-on experience from maintaining press contacts to creating communication materials, planning and implementing photo and video shoots, to managing social media channels and the website.
